Bridal Shower Invitation Tips & Etiquette

Who gets an invite?

• The bridal party
• Close family and friends
• All women invited to the wedding
• If it’s a “Couples Shower”- Invite the Groomsmen and Groom’s close family and friends.

When do I send it?
Typically it’s good to give notice 4-6 weeks in advance. Or sometimes more if guests need to travel.

What details should I include?

• Host’s name
• Brides name
• Important: Whether or not it’s a surprise!
• Date and time
• RSVP information
• Registry and gifts information (optional)

How do I address the envelope?
Bridal showers typically aren’t as formal as weddings, so no need to overthink the addressing. It’s normal to include Title (Miss, Mrs, Ms, Dr) plus First and Last names.
